A diamond is more than just a beautiful stone. It carries a promise, a history, and a future – and we at Coliène want that story to be one you can be proud of. That’s why we work exclusively with conflict-free diamonds, certified according to the Kimberley Process.

A symbol should not carry shadows

When you choose an engagement ring or wedding band, you are choosing something that will symbolize love and the future. We believe that this symbol deserves to be completely free from shadows – that you should be able to wear your ring with pride, knowing that no one has been harmed for its sake.

So-called blood diamonds are stones mined in conflict zones, and their sale has financed armed conflicts. This is a reality we actively distance ourselves from. We only deal with suppliers who can guarantee a transparent and ethical flow – all the way from the mine to the finished ring.

The Kimberley Process – the industry's most important pledge

The Kimberley Process was established in 2000 to stop the trade in conflict diamonds. Today, the Process's 54 members – representing 81 countries – control an estimated 99.8 percent of all trade in rough diamonds. Every certified diamond can be traced from mine to market. This is the foundation upon which we at Coliène build.

This is how we ensure your choice

All diamonds at Coliène – both natural and lab-grown – adhere to the Kimberley Process. However, we do not settle for minimum requirements. We carefully select our suppliers and impose demands that reflect our own values.

Certified vendors

We only collaborate with suppliers who fully comply with the Kimberley Process and who can document every step of a diamond's journey.

Independent certification

Every diamond we sell comes with a certificate from GIA or IGI – the world's leading gemological institutes – confirming the stone's origin, quality, and characteristics.

Two paths to an ethical diamond

Coliène offers you two options – natural conflict-free diamonds and lab-grown diamonds. Both are real diamonds with the same chemical properties, hardness, and brilliance. The choice is yours.
