Ring Size Chart

Ring sizes vary depending on the country. In Sweden and Europe, the internal circumference in millimeters is most often used as the size – this is the system we at COLIÈNE use. Here you can compare with other common systems.

Measure your ring size at home

Don't have the opportunity to order a ring sizer? Here's a method you can use with things you already have at home. Please note that this method provides an approximate size – a proper ring sizer is always more accurate.

Use a ring you already own

If you have a ring that fits comfortably on the correct finger, you can use it for measuring.

01Choose a ring that fits comfortably on the finger where the new ring will be worn.
02Measure the inside diameter of the ring with a ruler (in millimeters).
03Compare with the table above to find your size.

Tip: Do not choose a ring that is deformed, has an intricate design, or is very wide – this can lead to incorrect results.

Points to consider

Time

Fingers swell during the day and are largest in the evening. Preferably measure in the evening for best results.

Temperature

Cold makes your fingers thinner, heat makes them bigger. Measure at normal body temperature.

Ring width

Wider rings (4+ mm) feel tighter. If you choose a wide design, consider going up one size.

The knuckle

The ring should slide over your knuckle with some resistance, but sit firmly on your finger.

Are you planning a surprise?

Finding the right size when it's meant to be a surprise can be tricky. Here are some tips:

Ask close friends or family
They might already know the size, or can help you find out discreetly.

Borrow a ring
If your partner has a ring worn on the correct finger, you can temporarily borrow it and measure it.

Go by the average
The most common women's size is 50–52, and the most common men's size is 62–64. You can always change the size afterwards.

Remember
At COLIÈNE, a complimentary size exchange is included within 90 days of purchasing a ring – so you can always adjust if needed.
