All our rings are manufactured in Sweden by experienced goldsmiths. By working closely with the manufacturing process, we can ensure high quality in every detail, while also shortening the path between craftsmanship and customer.
We offer gold in 18 carat (75% pure gold), 14 carat (58.5%) and 9 carat (37.5%), in both yellow gold and white gold. All our shanks are made from 100% recycled gold.
Both are real diamonds with the same chemical composition, hardness, and optical properties. Natural diamonds have formed deep within the Earth over millions of years. Lab-grown diamonds are created in controlled environments and often offer a lower price (20–50%) for the same quality.
All our diamonds are conflict-free and certified according to the Kimberley Process. We only work with suppliers who can document every step of the diamond's journey. Natural diamonds are certified by GIA, lab-grown by IGI.
Natural diamonds: cut Excellent, colour Wesselton (H), clarity SI (eye clean). Lab-grown diamonds: cut Excellent, colour Top Wesselton (F–G), clarity VS.
All diamonds are certified by GIA and IGI respectively.
Size & fit
The safest way is to order a free ring sizer from us. It will be sent to your home within 2-3 business days. You can also measure at home with an existing ring or a paper/string strip. For detailed instructions, read more in our size guide.
The ring sizer is free of charge, including shipping, and will be delivered within 2–3 business days.
The most common women's sizes are 48–54 (50–52 being the most common). The most common men's sizes are 60–66 (62–64 being the most common). But everyone is different – the best thing is always to measure.
Always choose the larger size. It's easier to get a ring made smaller than larger. Also, keep in mind that wider rings (4+ mm) feel tighter – in that case, it might be a good idea to go up one size.
Your dominant hand (right for most people) is usually slightly larger. Make sure to measure the correct hand.
Match & combine rings
Regardless of the ring combination you desire, the best result is achieved if you choose rings with the same profile height – that is, how much the ring rises above the finger. Choose rings with the same profile height (indicated in mm on the product page) for a harmonious combination.
Try at home
With our home try-on service, you can borrow up to three sample rings free of charge (for the first time). The sample rings are made of gold-plated silver with synthetic stones – the same finish and feel as our genuine gold jewelry. We also include a ring sizer.
The sample rings come in size 55 (women) and size 63 (men).
You can borrow the sample rings for up to 7 days. Return them in the pre-franked envelope via a postal agent.
The first time is free. After that, a handling fee of SEK 200 will be charged. If the rings are not returned within the agreed time, SEK 2,000 will be invoiced per ring.
Resize
Yes! When you buy a ring from COLIÉNE, a free size exchange is included within 90 days. We'll send you a pre-paid envelope so you can easily send in the ring.
Resizing is free of charge within 90 days of your purchase, including shipping in both directions. After 90 days, a fee will apply.
Most rings can be adjusted, but rings with stones or patterns all around the band may be limited. Contact us if you are unsure.
It usually takes 2-3 weeks from the time we receive your ring. You will receive an email when the ring is on its way back to you.
Engraving
Yes, all rings can be engraved on the inside. Engraving is free of charge within 90 days of your purchase. For rings purchased more than 90 days ago, the engraving costs SEK 700. The price includes shipping in both directions.
You can choose between four fonts (straight, italic, serif, script) and symbols (heart, infinity, cross). There is no limit to the number of characters you can engrave – for longer texts, the size is automatically adjusted.
It takes approximately one week from the time you send in the ring until you receive it back.
An engraving is permanent and cannot be removed. Therefore, make sure to double-check the text before submitting your order.
Order & delivery
Plain rings are normally delivered within 7 days from the time of order. For rings with stones, the delivery time may vary slightly depending on the model and specifications, but typically your ring will be delivered within 14 days. During periods of high demand (for example, before holidays), delivery times may be slightly longer. We will always keep you updated via email.
Yes, all deliveries are fully insured during transit. If you use any of our services that require you to send your ring to us (e.g., for resizing or later engraving), the return label or pre-stamped envelope we provide must be used for the insurance to be valid. Coliène is not responsible for shipments sent in any other way than as instructed.
Yes, we offer free shipping on all orders within Sweden.
We offer invoicing and partial payments via Klarna, card payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and UnionPay), Swish, and express checkouts when available for your device (Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay).
Returns & exchanges
Yes, we offer a 10-day return and exchange policy from the date you receive your order. This return policy applies to plain rings and rings with lab-grown diamonds. Orders with natural diamonds are not covered.
As each ring is uniquely custom-made, it cannot be resold in its current condition. We need to recycle the material by melting down the gold and carefully removing any diamonds. The handling fee is SEK 2,000 for returns and SEK 1,000 for exchanges.
Once we have received your ring, we will carry out a quality control check, which takes up to two weeks. If the return is approved, the purchase price, less a handling fee, will be refunded to the same payment method used for your purchase. The refund will be processed within 5 business days after the approved inspection.
The product must be unused and returned in absolute new condition. Original packaging and any diamond certificates must be returned in new condition. You must use the pre-paid return label we provide for the transit insurance to be valid.
If the product does not meet the conditions – for example, if it shows signs of use or lacks original packaging – the ring will be sent back to you and we will inform you of the reason via email.
Yes! Upon exchange, you will receive a credit equivalent to your original purchase amount, excluding the SEK 1,000 handling fee. You will then receive a personal link where you confirm your choices for the new ring. Any difference in price will be settled in connection with the confirmation. The right of exchange can be used once (1) per order.
Resizing means we adjust the size of the same ring – this is free within 90 days. Exchange means you switch to a completely different ring model and incurs a handling fee of SEK 1,000.
Complaints & Warranty
In the event of original manufacturing defects, you have a legal right to claim a refund for your purchase for up to 3 years from the date the order was placed. We provide a lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects – meaning defects that were present at the time of purchase or that arose due to poor quality.
Fill in the complaint form and we will send you a pre-paid envelope. We cover shipping in both directions.
The right to claim applies to original product defects: stones that have come loose from their setting, defects in the metal, problems with clasps or mechanisms, and discoloration not due to normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear, scratches from daily use, or damage from improper handling are not covered.
We will review your product and get back to you in approximately two weeks. Depending on the nature of the fault, we may offer repair, replacement, or a refund.
If the fault is not deemed to be covered by the right of complaint, the ring will be returned to you and we will inform you of the reason via e-mail.
